Hi! Apologies if this has been asked before (searched but couldn't find this question), but does anyone know if doing a campus visit, or attending a Preview Day, affects Kellogg's decision? I am in the Chicago area but finding it tough to take a day off to participate in these events, but don't want the adcom to think I am not committed. Does anyone have any insight on this?

In my opinion campus visits only help when the school you’re visiting might have reason to think that you wouldn’t chose their program. Like if it is a safety school or something. Otherwise i don’t think it matters. Sent from my iPhone using GMAT Club Forum mobile app

No, it doesn’t. Although it does help you get more focussed points for the essays, it will not be the tiebreaker for or against your candidacy. FWIW, I got admitted without visiting Kellogg even once prior to final decision. Posted from my mobile device

Well actually, few people I know found it very helpful when they got waitlisted, so I guess if you've got waitlisted, especially if you've been interviewed by an alum and not an adcom it might be helpful. Posted from my mobile device

Any idea about the Interview waived candidates? Is there any deadline for them for receiving skype invites?

I'm late to this discussion but I applied on 9/21, received interview assignment on 10/5, interviewed on 10/18. I also applied to the need-based scholarship on 11/2. I guess I just have to sit tight until decisions.
