Not sure what to do, but I submitted my application on sunday but I was re-reading my essays and I noticed that I made a typo in one of the essays that makes a sentence slightly awkward. Does Kellogg allow for corrections before the deadlines? Or am i out of luck on that?
I got this tip from someone in thread for Columbia. So sharing the same. It does not impact if you have one or two errors in sentences in your application. Adcoms understand that their are multiple edits. Unless it's a glaring error ,( say you mentioned another schools name in your app) that should be rectified and put forward to adcom. Otherwise, according to me, an email to adcom is not required.

has anyone received the link to schedule an on-campus interview? I just submitted my application and paid 10 minutes ago. Just wondering how long it would take?

The link pops up in the portal on the right. It takes a bit of time to show up though. I would suggest you give it at least 30 minutes, especially since Kellogg's servers are flooded right now.

Kellogg says: "Also, please note that as long as you have entered your GMAT or GRE test score in the application and uploaded a copy of your unofficial score report, that application requirement is considered complete. It may take several days for our office to receive official test scores from the testing center, so we do not require them for the application review, only upon admittance"

Good luck!

Thanks!
But where is this information stated? Application requirements say "We require GMAT or GRE scores for all Full-Time MBA Programs. Kellogg has no test preference, so a score from either the GMAT or GRE will fill this requirement. Scores must be reported by the application deadline. Please request that official test scores are sent to Kellogg by using one of the following school codes..."
Even the application status page says : Please ensure official reports are sent for verification

I copy pasted from an email sent by Kellogg. If you look at the app page: “Please note that unofficial test scores will be accepted during review stage”

Anyone who has done Video essays in R2? Can you shed light on whether the three questions asked in previous rounds remain the same as Introduce Yourself, Career Goals, and behavioral questions or is there a variation from previous rounds. I was planning to complete the video essays today and it will be quite helpful.

Hoping for some quick advice on a big error: I just completed my video essay, and in Question 1, I made a huge mistake and said I was excited about applying to WHARTON (and then immediately swore under my breath after realizing). In my second question, I started out by apologizing for my prior slip of the tongue and said I had no excuse but was simply overexcited about the MBA process.

I realize this is the most obvious mistake one should avoid. The question is, is this worth submitting supplemental materials or an email to the adcom apologizing, or should I just leave it be? I'm hoping I didn't just completely blackball myself.

I’m sorry this happened to you. It’s really hard to say what’s the best action here because it’s going to be pretty subjective and everyone can have their own opinion.

What I’d do in this case, is to politely email the adcoms. Tell them you messed up in your video interview (without giving in full details) and would like another shot if possible.

If it’s one of those Kira talent thing, I don’t see it to be very hard to give it a refresh but it depends on how convincing you are in your appeal. A phone call would be better than an email.

Sorry to hear about that. I think this happens more often than you think. Many applicants and recommenders confuse school names quite frequently. My guess is they even have some kind of a process for dealing with or ignoring mistakes like this. I’m not sure what the answer will be but you won’t be the first one or the last one

Screwed my video essays. Got nervous in Q2 and Q3 both. And it was a disaster. All the best guys.

I think you handled it pretty well! Maybe drop them an email explaining the situation - and stressing on how keen you are on Kellogg?

Did anyone submit an official score report that doesn't have Kellogg on the schools the GMAT score is sent to? Will Kellogg possibly interpret this detail as it's not top choice for that person?
