Did anyone submit an official score report that doesn't have Kellogg on the schools the GMAT score is sent to? Will Kellogg possibly interpret this detail as it's not top choice for that person?

Probably depends how old your score report is. Mine doesn't have Kellogg on there but it's more than a year old and before I started researching schools properly.

For a waitlist update letter, is it advised or frowned upon to provide an updated (obviously higher) bonus amount since the previous bonus at the time of R1 was outdated? It would be in the context of high performance and providing an objective metric to back that point up. Just don't want to come across as pretentious.

Yes, Kellogg tries to interview everyone. If there is an alum in your area available to interview they will do it.

You selected in your application whether you wanted to do on or off campus.

Yes, Kellogg tries to interview everyone. If there is an alum in your area available to interview they will do it.

Oh maybe for Skype interviews that is true. I was able to schedule an on campus interview immediately after applying though.

For off-campus it says this on the application site:

"Off-Campus Interview Request
If you request an off-campus interview, you will be notified of your assignment or waiver via email within four to six weeks from the application deadline. Off-campus interviews are conducted by members of Kellogg’s alumni admissions organization."

The way I understood this was that they'll assign you an interviewer or waive it if they can't find one, but maybe that's not accurate.

Yea. I am kind of confused. If its a positive sign or a neutral one. The email just says that as you requested for an off campus interview, you have been matched with an alumni. Doesn't sound like an invite. I really did pathetic on my videos and i was hoping a ding already. But seems like a ray of light.

Yes, on-campus is available to all but if not on-campus, I am quite sure it's by invitation only. They don't go through the effort of matching you with alums if they don't feel you have potential. That is why they take 4 to 6 weeks before telling you if you are matched or receive a waiver. so Timebomb I think you should consider this an invitation. Your interview was not waived. The videos are just one of many data points so please advance with confidence. Sounds like you need to do some positive affirmations in the mirror to prep or something.

Email. Portal Updates are only for final decision IMo. I got matched with Alum in Hyderabad.

Dear All,

Got an interview invite at 4 am (IST) 14/Jan/2020. Matched with an alum in India and have been asked to finish this off in 14 days.

How flexible are Alums with dates? Can I ask him/her to have mine on a particular day?

And this is my first B School interview. How should I prep for this?

Yes, although I got mine before I submitted my app. Based on looking back through previous posts here, I think they do this fairly often? Basically just trying to be high-touch and get you excited about Kellogg by giving you as much information / attention as possible.

I'm sure they track engagement through it (i.e. I would respond to the email) but was told it was non-evaluative. They did ask me what other schools I was applying to, so my guess is that they use it to target outreach later if needed.

Yes and no. You can interview on campus but if you opt not to then it is by selection, you might be matched or your interview will be waived.

I'm wondering how they are pairing people, what sequence...I have two clients in London and one of them has received an invite and the other has not (yet). I think they are equally strong for the MMM program. The one who has not yet been invited has the stronger GMAT.

I have submitted my application on 8th Jan. Followed by completion of video essays and recommendations by 10th Jan. However, the application page mentions that my official GMAT score is pending.
My status is reflecting as submitted only. Has the application status for guys who have received interview invitations updated to review or is it still saying submitted.
Insights will be helpful as I can speak to Adcoms to see if anything else is missing in my application.

My status right now is still just submitted as well. Scheduled an on-campus interview on my own after submitting.

For the official GMAT score, I think it's only required once you get accepted.
