By no means an expert here, but assuming you’re talking about the MBA course itself (and not the MiM or something else) - I’ve heard from alumni/consultants that LBS tends to prefer folks with slightly more work exp (their average is 5.5 years). That and reapplicants are treated with more scrutiny, when compared to other equivalent MBA courses (making it more difficult to get in as a reapplicant).

So probably better to apply just once, when you’re better prepared/ready?

Hi aayushh22,

just to build on what the previous poster has said.

A 660 GMAT score as an Indian is going to make things really tough for you in both MiM and MBA applications. Therefore a retake is strongly recommended.

Warm regards
Alex

the MiM at LBS averaged at around 690 GMAT Classic last intake, which is equivalent to 74th percentile. So a GMAT FE score that is equivalent to the 74th percentile or above is a competitive score.

According to GMAC’s conversion table, that is a score of 635.

Does LBS accept the GMAT focus?

If you register and start your application and go to the GMAT/GRE section, you will see they have given an option for GMAT Focus which would indicate that yes, they are accepting those
