Pretty sure we were all tracking this, but got an email saying, "Decisions will be communicated online by 5 PM ET on Tuesday, December 19, 2017."

Same here, they also thanked me for visiting the campus which I haven't done

Does anyone know whether our interviewers make the final decision or Mr. Rod Garcia, the senior director of admission?

Interviewers provide a recommendation and the collective committee makes a final decision

Hey guys,

Dumb question: Is it ok to wait to send official GMAT scores until after we get admitted? I just had my interview and I don't know when we're supposed to send the official scores. Thanks!

Yes this is fine.

Congrats to everyone who got into Sloan so far! LGO is rolling out acceptances today as we were pleasantly surprised to find out!

Best,
Scott

Is it typical for LGO decisions to come out so far in advance of the decision date? I've seen that MBA-only decisions typically come out on decision day but I suppose LGO could be on a different timeline.

Last year Sloan only called on the day of the deadline.

Last year's clear admit records show one person was called the day before the 19th. Maybe a few people are called the day before.

Hoping for some advice: interviewed at MIT end of October. I was just looking at their website just now and realized that on the page where they explain their interviews, they mention at the end that any post-interview thank you notes should be sent to the AdCom email address provided there! But I sent the thank you note to my interviewer directly since I had her business card! Am I in trouble? Was this a test to see if I can follow instructions?! Help!?

:suspect

I did the same thing. I cannot imagine they would behave like that. That sounds like something only the military would do ;)

Hi..I did the same, sent the thank you mail to the interviewer only. Seemed logical to me :)

Is it common for interviewers to not respond to thank you mails?
