Same boat. Got an email this morning. Hadn't done well in the second interview so not surprised. A bit dejected however.

I have also been waitlisted after two interviews. Does anyone know if anything can be done from our end that might improve the chances of converting the "waitlisted" to "accepted" ?

Re-taking GMAT, taking leadership roles at work, showing your continued interest in the school are some of the frequently advised strategies. Here are few helpful discussions on waitlist management.

Waitlist - Best Practices Compilation 2007-8

Should we start a separate thread for waitlisted NUS applicants?

Hello,

I applied for NUS MBA on 17th but missed uploading my payslip. I have been trying to contact them on email and phone to find out how to send it as my application is locked after submission but did not receive any response either way.
Has anyone been successful with contacting them and how? Thanks for the help in advance!

Hey guys

I submitted my referee link on January 14th. But my referee said the link expired on January 9th!

I submtted my application and now the portal doesnt allow me to send the referee link again

Did anyone face this issue? if yes, please suggest

Just speak to the admissions committee. They will resend the link.

What was the time period between your second interview and the waitlist notification?

Hi all

Do we have to send hard copy of the documents and the application form to the university or just submit everything online?

Thanks

Hello people of the gmat club !!!
Little help please!!

I submitted the referee information in the referee details section like a week back. But both of my referees have not received any mail from the university. I have asked them to check their spam/trash folder. But, nothing's there. Is there something you need to do to make the university send the email to the referees. If not, then what shall I do? Shall I email the university and ask them?

Hi Ketan. Congratulations on making it upto preliminary interview. Its difficult as number of seats are limited in NUS.
I wonder if my reply will help you now that you had a 2hour deadline but for the benefit of the others I am posting the kind of qus you can face in Preliminary interview.

Prelim interview is a short duration(15-20min) interview usually done on skype so you need to be on ready with short 1-2 line answers.

Usual questions are:
Short intro
Why MBA?
Why NUS?
Job responsibilities?
Single example of leadership or Something which stands out on your application

Just keep it cool and be spontaneous. Dont give long answers.
All the best!

Got done with the preliminary interview an hour. Standard questions but it was an alumnus and an interviewer asking questions ( not sure if getting an alumnus on a preliminary interview is a standard practice). They said the admissions team will get back to me but hope the wait is not too long.

Hi,
You need to click on the link at the right side of your referee name that says 'Send mail to referee'.
