Ultimately Singapore is a very small region smaller than even some cities in India, the opportunities are limited by geography, on top of that they have several colleges and graduates from all colleges need to get jobs in that place, plus graduates from all other places also compete for Singapore and UAE and HongKong posting.

If you cannot have 6-8 months of post graduation unemployment, economically better to do an MBA from India, many options plus lot cheaper.

You can do 100 type of analysis but if you don't have the confidence of being the top 10-30 in a class of 400+ Singapore is very difficulty.

As far as employment reports are concerned, it's self reported and only reflects for those who filled it.

So you have to take into account, unemployed people not filling it and people exaggerating their salary.

PS: please verify the fact yourself.

One thing I would recommend ppl here to actively network on linkedin and share feedbacks about thier convo with NUS/NTU/SMU folks. Twice a week if we actively discuss this, it could help us all with our decision making. Also, don’t share the alumnus name here, just the feedback.

Alumni - Before you land in singapore, keep in mind that you may need to return to your home country. Be mentally prepared for that possibility.

In EU any non-English place is super super difficult, English is easier for Indians.

Leaving your current job and pursuing MBA even in India is a gamble

A smaller one

What if you land up in the same sector

Don’t make a pivot

happens
