Welcome to all the prospective NYU Stern applicants. Use this platform to know each-other, build network, exchange ideas/information, discuss application strategies, share interview /school visit experiences, and boost one-another's morale to face the tough admission process. Happy Networking!
Hey all. I received an invitation to interview yesterday which is incredibly exciting. Short notice interview invitation however is difficult as I am Australian and due to the nature of my work, taking annual leave is banned for January and February (audit busy season). I know that Skype interviews are virtually never granted but does anybody know if the international interviews (say in China for instance) are held over a range of dates or are quite rigid (ie they come for one day)? NYU is the top school for me so want to make this work but trying to be upfront with the school and manage work who are not onboard with me doing this in the first place.

I know that the interviews in India are held in March.. I suggest you reach out to the Adcom to understand the dates for the different locations.
Does it seem like the interview invites/waitlists are coming out slower than previous years? I know last year the rounds were more spaced apart (R1 in Oct and R2 in January) whereas this year they had R1/R2 in Oct/Nov respectively.
I've seen a number of interview invites listed on Clearadmit but looking at last year's time from deadline to response was much quicker.
I guess for Round 2 they will just release everything at the end of January before the Feb 1 notification deadline?
