Not the OP, but from my experience, they seemed very career goals-driven. They didn't ask me anything about my expected contributions to campus, etc., but dug instead into what my short-term goals are, which exact companies I wanted to work for, why I wanted that industry, and even if I had any family members currently working at those target companies (and I did, so she dug into what exactly my family member did at that company).

True. I think they would like to know if you have researched your career goals properly.
On a different note, Jan 13 seems to the date when they usually roll out decisions in bulk. Could be a coincidence but last two years that was the trend. Hopefully we should see some action this week.

Hey icanandwill. He did go in December but got waitlisted unfortunately. Which is sad because he travelled all the way to the US from India.

Sorry to hear that. I applied to Tech MBA in R2 (Nov 15) and havent heard back yet. I am starting to assume that my application has already been put in the 'Reject pile so disheartening.. one thing is, may be it will help if there was another thread for Tech MBA applicants? Not getting much clarity from the tracker either.. there is no drop down for Tech MBA.. Does anyone know how many have been admitted so far in Tech?

Let's hope for some good news later today or tomorrow. If we were in person, I'd hold hands with all you guys in solidarity >.<
I'm super nervous because although I have good stats and also did a lot of the research on the school and conveyed it, I did actually get curveball questions and didn't do too well on them. Worst was that I accidentally mentioned a rival school of theirs in response to one of these questions. If I get sunk, it's gonna be because of the curveballs
