Why's this thread so silent? What's the status of applicants applied in March-April?

Hi Van, really sorry that I missed this. I think it would be pretty chancy to go for September batch at this point. If you don't make it through, you might really beat yourself up because you applied late and reapply in a couple of months is unlikely to be successful. I think you should give yourself plenty of time; there are a lot of essays involved and do you want to do the best job possible. What did you end up doing? zinzin can you share with me how you gathered that information? They also have an MBA project which should be similar to an externship and giving you exposure to the industry of choice. Station f is another very interesting aspect of HEC, if you are going for entrepreneurship. I would definitely have a chat with the career people. I don't think HEC is the best choice for those who are looking to move outside of Europe and Asia, parts of Africa, and it's really the best option for those in francophone countries. The key operative word here is francophone. So for example I have a client in Lebanon and HEC is well-known there more so than more high-ranking mbas. What did you end up doing? it's a 5-week application cycle so I think March people should actually Be all set. My client applied in April, and was supposed to be interviewing this week but will be sending an apology to the admissions committee as he's decided to take the offer he was given from iese.
