Hi everyone - firstly, congrats to all those who've been admitted!

I'm planning to apply round 2 and have a question regarding GMAT scores. I took the GMAT this month but did not score high enough so I'm registered to retake it in the 2nd of week of January.

I've heard that for some schools, it's fine to apply with your unofficial score as is but if you let them know you're registered to retake the exam within a couple days of the deadline (5 days in my case) they sometimes accommodate you.

Can anyone tell me if I may be able to do this with BU? I really would like to apply to round 2 but would like to submit my second GMAT score instead a few days after the deadline (will submit complete application by the deadline with "old" GMAT).

I did select the school at the test centre when I first took the GMAT so BU would be receiving that score. I'm not sure what usually happens in this case if you retake the exam after and send your second score? Is it that they use the higher of the two that they receive or just whichever is more recent?

Appreciate any advice on this, thanks!

Thanks for the reply! I'll try that :)

Do you have an email address to share by chance? When I check the website, I'm only seeing a phone number for the graduate admissions office.
