Congrats to all admitted, Does my unchanged "submitted "status indicate Dinged?

Not to be a downer, but yes most likely. Emory did a VERY similar thing with their second round applicants. Those that did not get admit calls/emails two days prior to deadline were rejected. Also, I'm in the same boat as you... stuck at submitted with no calls or emails. Looks like another ding for me :D

but hey, with Puglyfe declining, that's one more open seat! good luck to all.

LOL, good spirit! Guessing Rice is still trying to improve their mean GPA/GMAT in the rating system.

Hello Guys I think we should not loose hope as still two days are left . In the first round they sent emails till last date . So I think we should hope for best

$37,500 per year. My B-School loans may end up being less than my undergraduate loans :wink:

I'll add that I was very surprised when they offered that much financial aid since I had not muttered a word about financial aid even though I initially wanted to before hand.

I applied for R2, I never got any invitation for an interview. Does it mean I'm not in?
When I read the FAQs on the website it says "candidates may be interviewed", so I'm not sure if not being contacted already means a bad thing...
Anyway, my status is still: Submitted
I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Yes. Same here. International applicant and no update yet (e-mail or call).
But I had my interview on Feb 12. I felt that the interview happened a bit late compared to other round 2 applicants. I submitted my applications on Jan 4th (last day of round 2 submission), but I didn't get notification whether my app was deferred to round 3.
