Got an admit. Thrilled. Application submission : 1 Oct 18 Interview Invite : 3 Oct 18 Interview : 9 Oct 18 Admit conveyed via video call : 11 Oct 18 However, was lucky to get some face time with the Admissions Director before submitting the application Video Call ( after posting my draft resume at "Introduce yourself to Rotman") - 1 Aug 2018 In-person 1-1 meetup at Mumbai - 25 Sept 18 Advice : 1. Try to connect with adcom via "Introduce yourself to Rotman" link on Rotman website 2. Keep a track of events to schedule meetups ( I believe Rotman's coming to India in December) 3. Connect with Rotman ambassadors via "Meet a current student" link on Rotman website ( or via linkedin) 4. Be yourself in the Essay/Interview/Video Component

Hi, I decided to apply to Rotman towards the latter half of September. Because of less time I couldn't connect with the Admissions team. Couple of the alums suggested to apply in R1 and not wait for R2. I was able to build up a decent application. My GMAT score of 700 was on a lower side but other parts of the application made up for the gaps. With so many candidates already getting an admit, I am not sure whether I should still consider Rotman as an option. Wanted to check if there is any point waiting till the reject mail comes or I should consider it all over already.

I'd say there's plenty of hope. People who have an admit have been interacting with Rotman officials for a while now. Just like Kavya, I've also had multiple skype sessions and in person meeting even before my application was submitted. I'd guess that brought our case to the front. That doesn't necessarily mean others won't get a fair evaluation.
