Smith has one week from the deadline by which it expects LOR and Official scores to be submitted, otherwise application is considered for next round.

When I submitted my official scores, it took 4-5 days to get updated on the portal.

Hi All,

I submitted my app on 24th October. I have submitted official GMAT and Toefl scores but still my application status says incomplete.
I got mail from admissions team that says-
"Please allow 1-2 weeks for your application status to be updated. During this time we will match any test scores or supplemental materials that may have been sent to us prior to submitting your application. We will update your status as we process the application."

I'm confused. Anyone else who has had this issue?

The scores have been received. Lor submitted, application submitted bt still it shows status as incomplete. Anyways will mail them this week. Thanks.

Wondering if any current student can comment on the situation of scholarships and financial aid for international students?
Also how easy is it to obtain GA's from other departments?
On a side note, as a current student what are the three things you would describe in a prospective student that would make him/her a perfect fit for the school provided the stats are on par with the school's requirements.
Any info is greatly appreciated.

Smith is quite generous with scholarships, and most of our class (of 99 students) has GA and/or some form of scholarship/remission.

Submitted application at 8:05, received invite less than an hour later.

Is this standard practice, or should I read something into this quick response?

Since almost many of us here are getting invite within a week, Is it possible that if you do not receive an invite within a week then you are possibly dinged?

I got my invite just yesterday. So I guess hope is still on! My recommender took some time to submit her LOR, I may be that's why there was a delay?

I had a skype interview. It was a friendly one with the following questions(these are the ones I can recollect):

1) Walk me through your resume.
2) Why Smith
3) What do you expect from the school
4) What can you give to the school
5) Post MBA goals
6) Post MBA target companies and work location
7) What other than networking would you want to learn from Smith
8) Any questions for us

Thanks a lot. Had a really great interview today. Very conversational and the interviewer kept cracking jokes :o :-D
Mostly had the same questions. Extra ones:
1) Tell me something about yourself
2) Which companies and market space do I want to work for in the future
3) Whether I am aware about the strict visa regulations. What will I do if my work visa gets rejected?
4) Questions about my extra curricular activities

I'm afraid that's not a good sign mate. What I read on this thread earlier, most folks received their invite within the first week from the time application was marked complete, including me.

I never received an email for interview, just checked my status today and it said 'Please schedule and interview'. There is no link or mention of how to do it, did anyone else face this problem ?

Good to know I am not the only one, but the problem here is I have been travelling for the last 10 days and I do not know when my status changed to 'Schedule and interview'. Anyways I have dropped them an email and hoping to get a reply soon

10/8--submitted my application and promptly received confirmation of a completed app via email.
10/10--received email that my application was being reviewed
10/12--application status showed message "PLEASE SCHEDULE AN INTERVIEW"
10/12 (later in the day)--received email with instructions on how to schedule an interview.

submitted on 10/31
under review on 11/10

status changed to 'schedule and interview'- DO not know as I was travelling

I have spoken to the admissions office,they said they will send the invite in 24 hours,haven't got it yet. Still 4 hours to go
