I've been to LA few weeks ago and stayed in Santa Monica.
Damn, I'd move to LA...maybe I should apply to Anderson in R2? :)

Hi,

I dont think so. Its suddenly very silent for UCLA. Either people are not getting the invites or they are yet to update the same.!

So I’ve seen you this in multiple forums. The short answer is no one is ever going to know for any school unless the school announced all of their interviews at once.

Well the wait is definitely hard and I don't know if i have to start with backup schools for R2 if any. It's silent on the forums and am I done waiting. Everything looks bleak. if the interview decisions were released on a single day like Duke none of this would have occurred

I would suggest that you start working on Round 2 apps because you won’t know about any school until the decision date. (And I say this for everyone not just because you haven’t gotten interviews) Even if you do interview it doesn’t mean you’ll get in so if you plan to apply in round 2 I would work on them now. Most schools are very clear that they invite people up until the deadline. Gmatclub is only a small sample of applicants. So no one here can really answer your question unless it is for schools like Duke that release all at once.

Also a benefit of working on Round 2 applications is that you have them already ready to go if you don’t get in and if you do you don’t have to submit them if you don’t want to.

I agree. Being impatient will only affect your 2nd round applications. Try to focus on them. I have checked on some current students they also say to wait till the last day. I was being impatient before but I understood impatience wont be helping you in anyway! You should focus on the ones you have.

I second everyone's advice. Plus from my own experience Indian applicant with a 710 could be VERY tricky for top 20 schools Hatakekakashi

On livewire R1 of 2016, people reported invites as late as December. I doubt it's much different now but even if it is, 2 more weeks is a very reasonable given the late application submit deadline.

Dec 15th is the decision release and considering most schools take about 4-6 weeks to complete the invite process it is highly unlikely that invites in December would be a possibility unless it's an odd case

Regards,
hk

Edit - I think it's good to be hopeful for another two weeks ( Nov 15-20 at the max) definitely while working on other things.
