Has anyone had any sort of correspondence with the admissions team regarding the scene/ plans with respect to the already admitted international students? Any sort of contingency plans as to how to accommodate them.
Owen is not accepting applications from international applicants anymore (starting from round 3).

Did you reach out to the admissions office? I am not sure how Owen is responding to the current situation but you can see how other schools are responding to this pandemic in the following topic. Also, I advise you to reach out to any current students. They might have a better idea of what is going on in the campus.

No as of now I haven't contacted the admissions team. Mostly because I dont see any point contacting them right now since they are probably clueless themselves (sort of giving them the benefit of doubt). I'm also assuming that nothing has changed as of now (otherwise there would have been some sort of correspondence) and they're hoping that things will go back to normal soon.

In any case, Welcome Weekend is coming up on 18th of April and hopefully there will be some sort of correspondence and clarity then.


Edit: Also, the move to not receive applications from international applicants in Round 3 and 4 also seem a bit surprising considering that no other school has made this move (or have they?) - again, I don't want to assume too much but you know how the human brain has the tendency to imagine the worst.

And it says the following in both Round 3 and 4 columns

"*Because we cannot ensure that admitted international candidates will be able to secure their visas in time to start the program, we are no longer accepting applications from international candidates for Fall 2020."

Nope. I don't have any information in this regard. I anticipate to get the decisions at around May first week. Don't have any official communication though.
