The CBS application allows for 2-page resumes. I've been told to try to keep my resume to 1-page at all costs. Does that rule still apply if the school explicitly states that 2-page resumes are acceptable, as CBS does? Even if 2-pages is acceptable, should I still be doing everything in my power to submit a 1-page resume?
I am having a hard time fitting everything on 1-page. Would prefer to keep it as-is but don't want to hurt myself by breaking the unspoken rule of the 1-page limit.

Hey mbaboop. I went to an info session and the admin rep recommended sticking to a 1 page. I would think that what they "allow" and what they "recommend" are two different things. What size font are you using?
this is also a test of how succinctly you can present yourself...if it was my own resume i would be concerned there was too much non-essential information on there. stick to 1 page for sure. (recent CBS admit).

Seconded on keeping it to 1 page. I heard the same during my campus visit this summer.
Another reason to keep resume to one page... it would be a lot of trouble to make a longer resume for just one school. You introduce the chance to have more errors on your resume if you are making a special resume for just one school. I would really try to just keep it to one page.
