Is a 1-page resume the right move for my CBS application, even if they allow for 2?

Always try to keep your resume one-page. It's more comfortable for HR department to review your resume more carefully.

Hey mbaboop. I went to an info session and the admin rep recommended sticking to a 1 page. I would think that what they "allow" and what they "recommend" are two different things. What size font are you using?

Seconded on keeping it to 1 page. I heard the same during my campus visit this summer.

Stick with a one page resume. It is very rare for a 2 page resume to be necessary and if you think you have a special case, email me to confirm first.

Best,

Another reason to keep resume to one page... it would be a lot of trouble to make a longer resume for just one school. You introduce the chance to have more errors on your resume if you are making a special resume for just one school. I would really try to just keep it to one page.

I went to an info session and the admissions officer said 1 or 2 pages. She made it sound as if her preference was 1 page- I'd do 1 page max.
