Hey
abhi2707 ,
Congratulations for the great admits.
I completely agree with
FuturePM91 here. Depositing the initial amount for Emory and then waiting for Kellogg/Cornell makes sense here.
Atlanta has alot of consulting firms, hence more opportunities if everything works out well. Please note that consulting opportunities in general for internationals are reducing. There are only a few firms that are hiring internationals unless Emory converts into a STEM degree (still not confirmed). For amazon or other tech firms, I think it's mostly off campus recruitment with a very few exceptions. Hence, wherever you go, you need to look outside by yourself or seek Alumni help.
A few more comments specific to Emory are as follows:
1. Apart from scholarship, the total cost will be on loan. --> Emory has given you a big scholarship, so tuition per semester will be around $15k now.
2. Class size --> 140 to 180 students.
3. International % --> Very high (~30%)
4. Total Cost- School + Living --> Expect an average of $1500 per month
5. MBA brand value --> Regional brand but well known within US. Not much compared to Kellogg though.
I hope this helps! All the best. Let me know if you have more questions.
