Salut,
I have been reading many topics in this forum and got an advantage of many already. Finally, I wanted to share my own story and hear specific help, and recommendations.
I did GMAT Official Practice Test 1 on Oct 20, 2018. Scored 520.
I took the test with almost no preparation. Then I stopped the GMAT thing, didn't even check my answers.
However, recently I quitted my job and decided to give it a try once again. I've concentrated on GMAT already for 3 weeks.
For preparation: I have read Manhattan SC and CR, partly RC. Finished practice problems of OG12, OG19 Verbal and OG19.
My overall success from those practice problems is 88.2% for Quant(95% PS, 74.1% DS), and 67.8% for Verbal(62.1%RC, 75.2% CR, 67.2% SC).
As about one month is left for my official exam, I decided to redo the GMAT Official Practice Test 1 again, and I scored 590(48Q 23V) this time. Since my ultimate goal is to get in the 60 percentile, which is about 600 I believe, this score made feel good. However as I still have a month and a lot of time to study, I want to rise it up. At this point, I would like to hear possible paths to follow in terms of practice, practice tests, and books.
Thanks in advance!
