A comprehensive article to leapfrog from V30 to V40; might give you some insight. All the best.

How to improve your verbal score from V30 to V40

Make sure you complete OG-Verbal (thoroughly) before the test.

At this point, I would like to hear possible paths to follow in terms of practice, practice tests, and books.

Thanks in advance!

As about one month is left for my official exam, I decided to redo the GMAT Official Practice Test 1 again, and I scored 590(48Q 23V) this time. Since my ultimate goal is to get in the 60 percentile, which is about 600 I believe, this score made feel good. However as I still have a month and a lot of time to study, I want to rise it up. At this point, I would like to hear possible paths to follow in terms of practice, practice tests, and books.

Thanks in advance!

Salut Baris34,

I'd recommend that you take exam 2 of the official practice test at some point for better indication of your current score level. Retaking a previously taken exam can skew your score higher, as you may encounter previously seen questions during your retake.
