I scored a 460 (Q38, V17) about a year ago on the GMAT. I finished the math portion and just felt like I did awful. I went into the verbal section with no energy or care to read, and it effected my score dramatically. After taking time off from studying for the GMAT and getting into triathlons, I decided to sign up for the GMAT again. Since I signed up for the GMAT about 3 months ago, I have gone through
Manhattan GMAT SC, Critical reasoning bible, and
Manhattan GMAT Number Properties. When sitting around on the couch or using the bathroom, I practice problems on the Ready4GMAT phone application. I have also almost completed the
OG 17 and plan to start taking CAT's soon to see where I stand. I take the GMAT on March 11th.
Even though I bombed the GMAT when I first took it, I will not get discouraged and will defeat this monstrous test. I'm shooting for mid-500's (average) for the school I am applying to. I know I don't need an amazing score to get into my school, but I also know that the GMAT isn't anything to take lightly.
If you want a 700 GMAT score, then go for it. Don't let anything hold you back from accomplishing your dreams.
