There is some issue in the scoring.

I posted 5 explanations on Saturday and got only 40 points. I answered all 5 correctly and got only 30 points. Something is not getting captured correctly here.

Can someone confirm on this please?

You can easily put 2 minutes of work and figure out which post you did not get points or kudos. And figure out what you missed.

If you don’t want to take the time, I will be happy to investigate for you with the condition that if there is no issue with the system and you posted late or posted twice or something else that is obvious and did not require my attention, you will be charged 20 kudos for my services.

hi bb

for the above question on that day i got kudos from the moderator, and it is still showing( image attached).. but the kudos didnt get added to my overall points. and it is not showing in that post also now.

plus in my point of view, description is also very apt by describing the formula of unemployment rate.

why it is so? why the kudos didnt get recognized ?

Will the 30 timers a day be also counted on 27th, 28th and 29th of July? We know that the last batch of questions will be on 26th, but not sure about the point from 30x timers a day.

Thanks for clarifying.

Hi bb nightblade354

May I know why I didn't get any kudos for the below question related to "The unemployment rate in Prelandia"?
Just want to understand what is missing in my explanation. Thanks.

You didn't explain (E). Saying "Irrelevant" is not an appropriate answer to provide if you want kudos.

I can tell you - moderator changed their mind as they saw more explanations and considered that others were better. FYI - things that impact the decision are the quality of the explanations and formatting (ease of reading, color coding, clearly seeing the OA)

ccheryn, what BB said, but also your explanation of (E) essentially says that something is irrelevant. Similar to saying out of scope, you need to explain why.

July 22

(You have one hour from the time of posting to earn Bonus GOT Points for the Timer and 24 hours for the Explanations. Note that your explanations will be hidden for 24 hours until the OA is revealed.)

Good question. The competition ends on the 26th, which means that the points will be calculated one last time on the 27th, so anything you do until 23:59 on the 26th will count (points will be awarded on the 27th once Kudos are given, etc).

Thanks,
BB.

Hi bb Bunuel

Can you guys please check the first quant question of 22nd July. I think some of the information given is misleading.

Yes, I agree with this.

Some information seems inconsistent and leads to conflicting answers in my opinion.

It appears that you are right. We'll lock that topic and post 4 quant topics tomorrow instead of 3. Sorry for that guys!

Exactly. Please, no points of any kind for this question. Better to have 4 fresh questions the next day.

Hi Bunuel, bb,

Just as to be fair to nearly 1200 participants, please do NOT grant Kudos for those who have posted explanation (In addition to @hiranmay's above request). IMHO, if the question itself is wrong, the explanation will definitely be one-sided.
Thanks
