I am an Indian non-engineer female and targeting schools like Tuck, Ross, LBS, Booth and Columbia. Currently work at a MBB firm and my role involves high focus on data analytics. My post MBA goal is fintech and consulting.
Should I be worried about my quant score and use the extra essay to explain it? Can my IR score make up for the low quant score?

Hi, You have a very competitive score for the desired schools. From an Indian applicant, US B-schools expect a high score in quant. You scored well in the IR part, so it wouldn't be an issue for an interview call. They may ask about your quant score in the interview. So please be prepare.

Hmmm. INSEAD does look at all sorts of scores. However, I won't worry much about quant score rather your total score. 720 for an Indian male.... Deal breaker for a lot of schools at least in terms of score. May be you can play your MBB brand but still, in top schools, they get a lot of applicants like you. LBS may consider the score. I think LBS is a good fit for you.
Consider applying to Cornell, Duke as well given your goals and score.
Just apply, there is no harm in applying to multiple schools that can get you there.
