Andysingh
Hi,
Thanks for looking into my case.
I have taken GMAT last week and scored 460 (Verbal: 13 and Quant: 42).
My verbal is very weak however my maths is on due to my engineering background.
Could you please suggest me what should i do?, what notes should i follow?, should i take GRE now? and when should i write exam again as i am looking for January?
Hey Andy,
I don't know how you prepared for it last time but a complete prep package could do you a world of good. Your Quant basics seem to be fine but you must be struggling with the advanced applications. The Verbal, of course, could see a lot of improvement. Do not worry about taking the date yet if you would like to apply in Round 3.
You could consider taking a course if you study best with a teacher. If self study is your thing, something like our "On Demand" course, which has video lectures, could aid you in improving your score. Also, you should develop the habit of reading - newspapers, magazines and good quality fiction. That will help you develop an intuition for GMAT verbal questions.
Here I will leave you with some links to our free resources - our DS book, our SC lecture video and a free practice test. These will help you get started.
