GMAT Online - What We Know [Master Topic]

Anyone here who took the GMAT online on or around 17th August and hasn't received the score yet? The wait is brutal.

I took the GMAT Online August 14th and still didn´t receive any news. I also sent an email yesterday and didn´t receive any response too. Neither I received any chat nor warning from the proctor during the exam, so I don´t know what´s going on.

Hope to get the results soon, I´ll let know.

In my observations, the wait times do not seem to have anything to do with the issues during the test.

Also it seems that as long as you did not have your test blow up or you did not walk away in the middle of the test, you are usually fine.

Hi everyone,

I appeared for the GMAT online test on 22nd August, and just received my score today (scored a 780, but bombed the IR)! I do have a few queries, and I thought putting them here wouldn't be the best use of this thread. However, since one of my queries is related to GMAT online score validity, would love it if any of the experts from this post wouldn't mind giving their advice on the following post:

Wow thats great. Congratulations. Do not worry about IR. I guess after getting a score of 780 in GMAT it should not matter. If at all they ask you about that in interviews, you can prepare some answer for that. You can so some statistics course and show them you are good in statistics.

I was looking into a GMAT Online retake to boost my IR.

Any idea in how much time can one reappear for the GMAT at the centre (since you can’t reappear for GMAT online) post giving a GMAT Online test?

I too gave it on the 17th of Aug but haven’t yet received my score. Today is the 7th Business day for us. Let’s hope we get it by day end!

Technically you can take both tests simultaneously though probably physically impossible.

How is the availability of Test Center faring up there?

I'm in Sydney, so unlike Melbourne, Sydney isn't in full-lockdown and we can go out etc.

Best of luck. I had 3 different interruptions during the online exam. I guess it could be very easy if nothing happens, but as soon as something happens it's super stressful

there's no minimum days required between online and offline tests. I took my offline 1 day after the online one.

I received my score 2 hours ago.

Got a 49 in Quant (I thought I didn´t do well because I found it kind of easy, I usually got a 46 in my mocks). I remember that I missed two medium/hard questions but still got a good score.

Surprisingly, I got a 31 in Verbal, my last score in Verbal was 46 in Gmat Prep and I never scored lower than 36 since my first e-gmat mock in January, I really don´t know what happened in this section. I remember I started with a CR question that couldn´t solve it properly and I ended the Verbal section with 2 RC with the last passage being a very hard one and I couldn´t answer the questions with 100% certainty (time issue too). Still, I am amazed with the score in Verbal, in the last 5 mocks (e-gmat, experts global, 800 score, gmat prep) I did I got 38,40,49,41,46 in Verbal.

Not so much to do, unfortunately I cannot take the Gmat in test center cause we´re still in quarantine in Argentina...

660. Q49 V31. I got a 8 in IR without only 1 practice of an IR section from 800score.

It was my second attempt, I got a 610 in November last year. V31 Q43.

In my last mocks my scores where 700 Q43 V42 (e-gmat) Q, 710 Q48 V39(experts global), 760 Q47 V49 (800 score), 750 Q47 V46 Gmat Prep 6 (second attempt though).

Is incredible I got a 31 in Verbal, lol.

No other choice than keep on going.

Got my GMAT score: 640 (Q:51/ V:26 / IR:6)

I thought I screwed the Quant part as I never got any hard question. Don't know what happened to Verbal. I scored 35+ in each mock.
