Does anybody know the exam result will be notified via email or not? The suspense is killing me!

Within 5-7 days mostly the result is given. You will get an email telling you that the result is available on site, when it does.

Hello all,

I received an email from GMAC that GMAT Online is now available through Feb 2021.

The mail does not contain any information other than exam availability.

Thanks

Does anyone know if it is possible to schedule both online and physical exam in advance? Example: I was thinking to schedule my online Gmat for 11/16 and the physical one for 11/27, is this possible?

Hi Mizar18,

The scheduling of one version of the GMAT has nothing to do with the scheduling of the other version - meaning that YES, you can have scheduled appointments for both the At-home and Test Center versions of the Exam in advance.

At the same time most report that while you do get an email, it is usually not sent the instant the score is available. It seems they send emials a few times per day so you may find out about the score a bit sooner if you F5 all day long on mba.com  but you can probably also just wait for the email.

True bb,
I actually checked on mba.com first and saw my score and coincidently I got the mail notification on my mobile at that exact same moment from GMAC to check my score.

Hi Mirzar, I have a question. Were you able to book both an offline and an online version? Someone told me that a person need to have minimum 16 days gap between an online and an offline version. However, there are only 11 days between your dates as stated by you. Pls let me know. Thankyou

Best,

Hi,

16 days gap is only mandatory between two test center attempts. There is no such restriction for the two versions of the GMAT.

Hope it makes clear.

Hi,
I have a few questions.
From the answer above, I understand that I can book two exams on-line without the 16 days rule, is that correct?
Or can I only book 1 on-line attempt and 1 at the test center without the 16 days rule?

Other question I have:
-Can I book the on-line test for the same day? for example, I book it in the morning and take the test in the afternoon.
-I was ready for timing strategy using the scratch papers at Test Center and dividing each page in the quadrant for the Quant section (3 questions/56 min left, 4/48 min, 4/40, ...,4/8min left etc) and for Verbal section (9questions/48R min, 9 questions/32R, 9 questions/16R, 9questions/0 min).
Now without the scratch papers and with no enough space on the physical whiteboard to set up the above strategy, I am not sure what to do..do you have any recommendations?
thank you

Thank you, I was able to schedule both exams, online for 12/01 and at test center for 12/03.

So now that we are allowed to take the GMAT at home all the way till 2021. Any chance the number of retakes allowed for the GMAT-at-home will also get increased?

It is on the mba official website under GMAT online policies and procedures. It says “Pearson VUE Test centers in the country you currently reside must be closed due to COVID-19 (coronavirus).”

Hi! I've just read the same. According to Policies and procedures we're not allowed to take online GMAT, if Test-Centers are opened.
https://www.mba.com/exams/gmat-online/g ... procedures
"Understand the minimum requirements:
Pearson VUE Test centers in the country you currently reside must be closed due to COVID-19 (coronavirus). For an up to date list of countries where Pearson VUE Test centers are currently closed due to COVID-19 visit: mba.com/articles-and-announcements/announcements/update-on-coronavirus"

I've already scheduled my online GMAT appointment but suddenly realized that Test centers are opened in my country. So, I suppose I have to cancel my online GMAT appointment because it's against the rules?
