Hello Everyone,
Long-time lurker here. I have been fortunate to receive admits from two T20 schools that have provided me the same $ amount. Just trying to expand my research and make an informed decision.
Profile: Indian, Male, Engineer with 4 years of experience in Analytics, 740 GMAT
Goal: Consulting (MBB or Big 4 MC) or Technology (Internal consulting or management roles in FAANG etc.)
Goizueta:
Stellar for consulting, at least Big 4
~35% International students and career services rep is solid
Not STEM certified
Kenan Flagler:
Not as good as Goizueta for consulting, but definitely more Tech presence
~17% International students and employment rate for Intls < 80% (Somewhat low)
STEM certified (Opportunity to extend my OPT by another 2 years which kinda helps offset the previous point)
I think both schools fit me well (Emory a tad bit better, after speaking with alumni), COA Similiar, opportunities similar, Emory big city advantage though for employment. If Consulting was my only preferred industry, Emory would be a no brainer. But I want the tech opportunities as well which is making the decision hard (Also the STEM tag).
I might have missed something in my research. So I Would greatly appreciate any additional info or points that would provide clarity!
And Happy to provide any more detail.
Thanks,
Gautham
