Hi guys!

I scored 670 (Q47 / V35) about 45 days ago on the official exam. I studied with The Economist material, and right after this score I acquired the Manhattan online course. I have gone through all material, except that I haven't completely done the OG yet (half way through). However, today I took a mock test and the result was discouraging, the same 670... :( I expected some progress towards the 700 that I need to score, but I seems I am stuck making no progress... I am already tired of studying as I work full time, and also I started this journey about 4 or 5 months ago. Any hint on how to walk this extra mile and improve to get to the 700+ band?

Hi B4nksy!

The mock test that you took, was it a gmatprep test? Did you take it before your first exam?

It hink the best way to improve your score is to focus on your weaknesses. If you took GMATprep test, can you upload your score analysis here?

Hi B4nksy,

The first step to understanding how to improve this score from 670 to 700 is by ordering your ESR
The ESR will give you a detailed idea about which of the sections require your maximum attention?
Once, you have an ESR the experts on this forum will definitely be able to help you how to
get around this problem

My best bet will be increase the Quant score from the current level to Q50

Hi Masshole , this was after I took the exam, and yes it was a official mock test as well. Please find attached the analysis.

As mentioned, I scored 670 on the exam itself, and on the previous 2 mocks I had taken I scored 700 (Jul 10th) and 660 (Jul 13th). Thanks!

It seems that you have to ficus more on DS. Here are some links, but keep searching on this forum, and you'll find really good posts on how to improve quant score:

Also, consider getting gmatclub tests. They seem hard at first, but every question has really nice explanation by Bunuel. As you go through several gmatclub CATs, your quant skills will improve.

Keep practicing, and you'll get used to the style of GMAT questions.

It seems that you have to focus on CR and RC. What textbook did you use for CR?

Masshole Again, thanks for the support! I have used The Economist and, most recently, Manhattan material.
