Hey Friends, I need your advice. I prepared for my GMAT for around 2-3 months and gave my GMAT on 14th November. I scored a 670 (Q49 V33 IR7 AWA(awaited)). I don't know if it is a decent score for the top 10 MiM programs but I am pretty sure it is not good enough for Deferred MBA, which is why I am planning to give my GMAT another try. As of now I would be indulged in my college exams till 16th December. After 16th I would study for GMAT for about a month before giving my 2nd attempt. The Major problem that I have encountered so far is VERBAL. I have given all the official mocks and the score were as follows: Official Mock 1: 630(Q47 V29) Official Mock 2: 650(Q49 V30) Official Mock 3: 610(Q49 V26) Official Mock 4: 640(Q49 V28) Official Mock 5: 620(Q46 V30) Official Mock 6: 650(Q49 V28)
As you can see that my Verbal score is stuck between 26-30, maybe I was lucky to get away with a V33 on my exam :p. I think I would be able to get a healthy GMAT score if I could get my Verbal from that 26-30 bracket to 40+. My main weakness in verbal has been sentence correction. I have had a fair accuracy in RC and CR but they are not great as well. Since I would give around a month to my 2nd attempt, a major portion will be devoted to verbal.
Could you please give me advice as to how I can increase my verbal score? Also if you guys could advice me how to touch that Q51 mark would be really appreciable.

By the way bad thing giving all the official mocks However, I have exactly what you want https://gmatclub.com/forum/beginner-to- ... l#p2313182 Even the title matches your question Please don't forget to give a like/smile on the post if you like the strategy Also bookmark it so that you don't have to search for it again and get lost in millions of threads
If we consider V33 as your actual ability, then also there is a lot of potential to increase your verbal score. I would suggest to for e-gmat verbal online course can help you to achieve 40+ score.
Better get the ESR and get a review from which u will understand exactly what's the issue.... whether it's sc,Cr,or Rc....also whether is it the exam taking strategy is wrong.....
For SC: --> Stick with only official questions. Read the explanation of those official questions from gmatclub (only expert opinion/comments). --> Try to watch all the videos of "Thursdays with Ron" from youtube.
