Congratulations on your great score, I don't think you should bother too much on your quant. Work on other aspects of your application, I think you will be fine. Cheers.

Hi xprometheusx,

First off, a 760/Q47 is an outstanding Score, so you can comfortably apply to any Business Schools that interest you. The Q47 won't "impress" anyone, but that's not necessarily an issue (since your overall Score is so high). With highly-competitive Programs, it's important to remember that beyond a high GMAT Score, you also need a strong OVERALL Profile AND you need to properly 'market yourself' to each individual Program that you apply to. Since you're interested in some highly-competitive Schools - and you're ultimately asking Admissions questions - you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile and plans. There's a Forum full of those Experts here:

Hi xprometheusx,

760 with Q47 is a great score. Remember, Q47 is only 4 points below the best possible quant score of 51, so as far as your GMAT quant score is concerned, you do not have anything to worry about.

Good luck with things moving forward.
