Hi there,
This might be a repetition but I'd like to ask how to improve verbal score, especially RC specifically. I've been preparing for GMAT since the past 3 months and I am quite confident with the Quant. But verbal, specifically RC is bringing my whole score down in practice tests (V27-V32). Even while practicing questions from the forum, MGMAT or OG, my accuracy is anywhere between 50-60% and no more than that. If its a 3 question passage, I always get 1 wrong. If its a 4 question passage, I tend to get 1-2 wrong and if its a 6 passage question, I do get 2-3 wrong.
I've tried all the strategies of taking notes, practicing without time limit, summarizing each and every paragraph in 10 words and less but its very rare that I get all of them correct. In very recent passages on this forum, I've gotten few of them all correct but when I switch to MGMAT or even many times OG questions - accuracy is no more than 50-60%.
Please help and guide me how to go about making RC strong. I'd like RC accuracy to go to at least 80-85%.

Just to add to Sajjad's post, Nightblade's RC/CR thread is great.
The basic and most thing about RC and CR is passage comprehension. And it's also true about the GMAT exam altogether.
So, you need to forget about how many questions you get right in a passage with 3 or 4 or 5 questions. Though analysing your performance is good, take one passage at a time - even during your actual/mock exam.
Read articles from Economist, NYT and WSJ for improving reading speed and overall comprehension.
Half the work is done if you get accustomed to the main idea of passage and general flow of the passage. Questioning why does author mention a certain object in a passage is good way to approach a passage.
Finally, check the pattern of your error. If there is one, then that's great as you have mastered some question types. If there is not, then it is problem as you need to change your approach altogether.
Take LSAT passage for practice only if you run out of GMAT Official ones.
