Hi,

I just wanted to know if Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management offers a 1yr FULL time MBA course? I could not find many details on their website and also they haven't responded to my query.

Another thing, I think even MDI, Gurgaon offers a 1yr course. What about it? Is it a good course to take up?

Indian school of business is the only real business school in india..i mean the likes of a diverse US school.. most other good ones are filled with engineers here

They are actually two different programs. IIMs two year mba is mostly for freshers looking for lower level managerial roles. but most them become junior consultants/analysts..

I've few quick qs:
1. You've mentioned that IIFT accepts GMAT for its 2 year FT MBA.Do they accept Indian applicants(Not NRI) for this through GMAT..?
2.Recently I've heard that IIM-L also accepts GMAT for its 2 year FT MBA.Is it for Indian applicants..?Can you please provide any update on this or validate the authenticity of this statement?
3.Any other(apart from the list mentioned by you) top ranked B-School in India accepting GMAT for their 2 year FT MBA?

Would really appreciate your feedback on this.

@ bigoyal But they are not considering GMAT scores for admissions in their mba programmes
Please explain

and also which is better for mba >> {gmat vs gre} VS {cat vs mat}
considering the situation that I'd love to study,work and settle in some foreign university but as they are costly then I might stick with Indian univ/colleges

S P Jain School of Global Management also accepts the GMAT scores, criteria - more than 650.
MDI accepts
NMIMS accepts...

Thank for replying . My name is ANUJ SINGH . I have a GMAT score 590 (Q40,V30) .

What I intend to do now is to use this GMAT score coupled with the application and try to get an admit. I am planning to retake my GMAT again in November and if the score improves , then use the new scores for further application.

My profile :

GMAT : 590 (Q40,V30)

Class X : 81% ,
Class XII : 77.4%

Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science : Overall 63.3% , with a final year %age of 70 [ Rajasthan Technical University ]

Aim : PGDM Program

I have queries on following points , it would be kind of you if you could answer them :

1. My first question is how much is the possibility of getting admission in PGDM with that GMAT score ?

2. My second question is how much is the possibility of getting scholarship with that GMAT score if i apply for a PGDM program ? I ask this because it would be of great financial assistance to me .

3. Lastly , What has been the average GMAT score for your last two batches .

My undergraduate course was not related to HR and nor do I have prior work experience to apply to PGDM . What should I do to increase my chances of getting admitted into my desired course in your reputed university?

Do I stand a chance ?
