Hi mbaaspirant80 ,
To move to Gold , you need 50 kudos . Please read below for further information .
Hope this helps!! :)

Important Update - a new improvement is being introduced to the system as of today, April 24th.

The moderator group has reviewed Rewards-related activity for the first 3 months of the year and has observed a number of unintended outcomes. As the result, in order to cut down on the number of useless posts observed in forums that started after rewards system introduction, a new requirement has been suggested by a moderator group.

The requirement was put in place today. From now on, users to have a minimum number of Kudos in order to progress through the levels in the GMAT Club Rewards and continue earning points. What this means is that members will not be able to reach a particular level, for example, Gold level without having at least 50 Kudos. If you are in this situation, your point earning will suspend until you are able to earn the sufficient number of kudos. If you are wondering how to improve your Kudos situation, consider posting helpful posts that go beyond chit-chat or simple question replies. Think about what you would give Kudos for and it won't take long until your efforts are rewarded.

The following Kudos requirements have been set in place:

1 Bronze 0 kudos
2 Silver 25 kudos
3 Gold 50 kudos
4 Platinum 100 kudos
5 Diamond 200 kudos

Hi leanhdung ,

No, the suspended points are not added back. Once you get eligible for the next tier, points start increasing on daily basis/activities post that date.

Hi bb,

I had 329 points and was trying to redeem 100 points to purchase veritas tests. However, it showed me the below error.

Not enough point for this test(attached image). Then I tried few more times because I was surprised why it is not allowing me to redeem 100 points. After some time I noticed that it gave me three rewards of veritas CAT test, taking away 300 points. Moreover, I am not able to open any of those tests. Can you please guide me and rollback two CAT rewards? thanks for your help.

By the way, it should give some prompt that you have successfully redeemed 100 points and should not allow to redeem the same reward at the same time. It will be easier for the user who never redeemed the points before.

Thank you. I have removed the duplicate redemptions. Your test access will be enabled by Veritas Prep in the next 2-3 business days.

P.S. Here is what the system says after click the Redeem Button. You just did not read.

I can see that there are 5 points each for review for GMAT products ranging from material to test center. I posted two debriefs and but did not get any points for it. Am i missing something?

Hi. Thanks for the question.
Clarification - a test center is not a product.... and thus a test center review would not be a review of a product. You would have to post a review of a product such as a course/admissions consulting package.

Thanks a lot for prompt reply bb. I understood that test center is not counted. I also gave a review for Manhattan Tests. I think that should count for review of product?

bb : First of all, You have no idea how helpful and amazing this community is. Although it does take some time to understand complete functionality and use it appropriately. I am aiming for a 720+ and I know with GMATclub by my side I can surely do it.

I have a small query if you don't mind answering it.

I am a member since January this year but I have been very active since a month. Reason being my GMAT is in two months. Plus I had no clue about Kudos or points or posts before; not even bookmarking posts (which is a very helpful tool and my favorite one now)

I like Quant and I have started helping other people by replying to their queries and answering quant questions in the group recently. I read somewhere that having 25 Kudos or 200+ posts can help you get GmatClub tests for free?

Does that 200+ post logic is applicable? I see you guys have implemented this point scheme this year.

I am giving my GMAT in mid-September. To be completely honest, I thought I would be very active this month and post really useful solutions and answer queries with as much accuracy as I can so that I can reach 200+ posts within a month and a half (Coz I am not sure Kudos or points can do that for me by that time.)
I at least need 15 days to a month around next month to practice all the GMATCLUB tests if I manage to make my target.

I am just being honest and realistic here since I don't have enough time to waste and also not enough money to spend.

Your reply would be much appreciated, bb.

Thanks,

Hi. You can redeem points or 25 Kudos for GMAT Club Test Access.
200 posts no longer works - that was decommissioned back in 2012.... quite a while ago as a lot of people were spamming and posting useless posts.
