Hello! Has anybody applied in R2 with an average GMAT score and a confirmed date for GMAT re-take (hoping to improve the score, of course)? I was wondering if the adcom will proceed with the application now or if they would wait till the new GMAT score was updated.

I have applied to Richard Ivey in Round 2 (18th July). Has anybody, who applied, got interview invite yet? I am still waiting.

My score is 690. What about you? When did you submit the application?

Does anyone remember what 2 questions they got for the video essays? This is a new component of the application and there is little information out there on it.

Guys, I'm taking my GMAT on Sep 6th.
I'd be applying in R3. Do you think I am too late now?

Bad start, but for now, I didn't knew a better way.

GRE score of 160+ in Quant & verbal and AWA essay score of above 60 % is required.

IVEY expects strong leadership experience.

Feedback given by adcom in R2 round.

Hey KTY,

In my opinion, Ivey's greatest strengths are their strong network and their case-based learning methodology. Some say that the 12 month program is also a bonus, but it's a trade-off since it doesn't offer an internship opportunity like a two year program such as Rotman. For those going back into the same industry they came from, it's a huge plus, but for career switchers an internship can help ease the transition.

Hope that helps.

Anyone has some tips or remember the question they had in the video essay ?
I am sure the odds are low to get the same question and there are tons of questions possible that can be found online, but it's always interesting to see what actually came out

gnrocks,

They'll ask you two questions. I got a question on leadership and one on teamwork conflict/resolution. They're probably more concerned with how you present yourself and your ability to articulate your thoughts rather than the actual answer you give.

Hope that helps.

Thank you for the tip ! I did the video essays today and had similar questions too ! I am wondering however : is there a delay between the moment you submit (i have received a confirmation email from Kira) and the moment the videos are available in your application ? at the moment i cannot submit my application although i have completed the video essays.

I also faced the same problem. The application system did not show the video essays as being submitted.

Click on the video essay link again and it will take you to the Kira website and show some message like "Interview successfully completed" (or similar). If you then log back in to your application system, you should see the submission date for video essays.

Hope this helps.

Recently submitted my application as well. Got an email from Jenni to schedule a phone call. Will do that soon.
