Hi Mbaexpress,

I firstly received an email from Julia about a fixed time for receiving a call to discuss my application. Then she gave me the offer in the call, following which a formal admission email was sent to my mailbox.

Man if they offered you 12,000 for the visit you need to stop asking questions and jump on it!

Jk, I'm assuming you mean 1200, which I believe is the number for international students. They don't provide any hotels or anything, but they do reimburse up to that number. I think hotels are eligible for reimbursement but I'm not sure, because my flight alone was over the limit.

Anyhow, hope to see you in the class soon. Congrats on the offer!

Yes, you are right. The 12,000 is a typo and Clark clarified it via email to me yesterday. Hotels and food are also included in the 1,200 CDN, so I think I will join the June 18th Class visit. Are you going on this day too?

Hey guys, need your help with something..any suggestion is welcome!

I had submitted my application on March 30th and since then there have been a couple of developments at work that are not mentioned in my resume. During my interview, I mentioned about one of the two but could not mention the 2nd one since I found out about that after my interview..

SO..should I mail Ivey and inform them about these updates?

No, I did my visit back in February. You'll enjoy it though - it was a big part of my decision to accept the Ivey offer.

mbaexpress, what types of developments are you talking about? Are they ones that will help your application? If so, I'm sure your best bet would be to send a message to Julia.

Hi guys, I received a call from Julia on May 5th for the Admission and 10K scholarship+15K LIBRO loan. I think I will take this offer and thanks so much for your previous help and advice for the video interview.
By the way, they also offered 12000 CDN for the campus visit, does anyone know about it? The fees will only cover flight or everything including food and car rental?

Now planning to give GMAT in July 2016. Already enquired to the University, they said deadline is November 2016. Am I late already? Any advice? How much I should score in GMAT minimum to get into IVEY. Thanks in advance.

Nope you're not late. Gmat is just one part of your application. If you really want to set yourself apart, aim for 700+. However, mid 600's would be a competitive score.

Nope you're not late. Gmat is just one part of your application. If you really want to set yourself apart, aim for 700+. However, mid 600's would be a competitive score.
