Question by a member ...................... I’m an international applicant marrying a US Citizen, is this worth mentioning in the application?
Not sure of its relevance to the application - unless you need to illustrate cultural awareness that isn’t somewhere else in your resume/essays - or if you had a big cultural issue, could be a neat way to answer an essay. As it won’t change your citizenship at the time of application, not worth mentioning for demographic consideration.

I have a 710 GMAT score looking to apply to round1. I’m targeting top 20 colleges. Will my GMAT score be enough for top 20 schools ? I come from a highly represented Indian IT male background.
You can be competitive for T20 schools with 710, with compelling experience, leadership and school fit. You may be wait listed at first, many international students were last year, and then with strong wait list campaigns, were able to get off.

what factors other than avg. GPA and GMAT should one consider while shortlisting b-schools?
Look at school
specializations - finance, tech, product... career prospects should be top priority when considering which schools to short list. Also look at geography - where do you want to work post-grad... its likely you’ll be in that country/region immediately after

School personality is also important to consider - are you a good fit with the current students? what kind of vibe do you get from them/ are they a good fit for you?
