Congrats on your admits! I don’t know a whole lot about Texas A&M u fortunately but seems like their reputation is commenting you look up to. I would probably choose between A&M and Kelley since you seem to be more fond of Mays than Madison.

Thanks for the reply. Question, if Madison ended up offering a full-ride would that change things any? If I'm stuck on CPG I know it's between them & Kelley. For anything else I'm looking at Mays vs Kelley I guess.

Where does Madison place in terms of geography? Chicago? What would be the $$ difference? And how tight are you on money?

Can your spouse find a job easier on one place or another?

Also, Just FYI: A few days ago, Kelley announced that most of their MBA concentrations are now STEM. That is HUGGEEE!

I'm also married and considering Kelley. The partner's club is fantastic. With your career goals, I think IU is the right choice unless your wife is that opposed to the notion. Kelley is also more likely to get you out of the midwest if that's your goal. Compared to Wisconsin, Kelley sends more people out of the midwest and also has a dramatically more extensive network.

That's great to hear about the partner's club being a fantastic resource for married students. My wife is onboard with wherever I pick but having that support is definitely nice. Yea, being able to possibly place outside of the midwest is important. It's nice up there and I definitely wouldn't mind being up there for a few years but my goal is to be back in the south/southwest after a few years. Thank you.

Madison definitely places more in the Midwest with some students getting into the south/southwest but most staying near Wisconsin/Minnesota/Chicago. Price difference is about $40k but I do have savings and I'm alright with student loans.

My wife is a teacher so it should be pretty easy for her to find a job wherever we go.

I don't think Kelley worths the price difference.

Wisconsin MBA seems to place more regionally. However, you have to consider that Wisconsin is a state school. Considerable amount of its students are already from midwest and want to favor in-state tuition. Therefore, they are more likely to stay around the region since they were already living there. Unless you want to go northeast after graduation, I think you will be ok with Wisconsin.

Congrats on the admits! I'm a first year Kelley, majoring in marketing and going into brand management. If CPG is your intended industry, Kelley is the top choice. We are known to be a marketing/brand management school, and our students get placed at some of the top CPG companies in the country (PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, ConAgra, P&G, Nestle, etc). Our connection with those companies is fantastic, and open a lot of doors for you. Also, the Kelley alumni network is huge, and everyone I've reached out to has been super helpful and willing to speak with me.
Bloomington has been a fantastic place to live. Coming from a big city myself, I had some reservations as well, but those quickly went away. It has everything you would need for a 2 year program, at half the cost. I am very happy I chose Kelley! The partners club has a huge presence, and they do a great job here.

Let us know if you have any other questions, or need any other clarifications!
