Hey Everyone,
I know 670 certainly is not a good score. I made some mistakes during the exam and I am writing this so may be few of you do not make the same ones. I started my prep in early June this year. I opted for self study and relied only on Gmatclub. Below is my
error log statistics.

I was scoring 670-720 in Manhatten mocks and 690-740 in official mocks. I booked exam in hurry for 30th Sep for center based exam as I had one application deadline in first week of Oct. Though I knew that I will not able to score 710-720+, I was expecting 690-700 for sure. I selected test in order starting with verbal on exam day and that's how I have been preparing through mocks as well.
Exam was going smooth for first 40 min after that suddenly there was some internet issue, exam was getting disconnect and reconnect continuously and test was lagging behind whenever I click on next, it will take couple of sec to load the next question. I asked the person at center for help and he was really supportive but there was not much he can do about it. It was very irritating and I was losing my focus and patience ;In addition to that, I panicked and took more time on last RC and even after spending 4-5 min on reading the passage, I could not make much sense out of it. I ended up guessing last 6-7 questions including 3 questions of that RC in a row.
I scored V35 with last 7 consecutive guess and my ESR report shows my accuracy was only 25% on last . Though V35 is not that bad score but I made a mistake carrying this horrible feeling to next section. In my head, I was determined that I already bombed my entire exam not just a section and that there is no chance I can score above 30 in verbal so what's the point of scoring well in other sections as I have to take the exam again.
I carried this absurd feeling and vibe in Quants section and I bombed it too. I give up before the test was over. I was not focused enough and did not try as hard as anyone was suppose to be during exam. I scored Q47. I have not scored less than Q50 in official mocks. Even in Manhatten mocks, I scored Q49- Q50. I could have scored Q49 - Q50 in the exam, if I had not given up. When I submitted my AWA , 670 appeared on my screen.
If I had not given up right after the verbal section then I might have scored Q49 or Q50 and total score with V35 would have been 690-700 which i was expecting in the beginning. These technical issues and other problems during exam do not cost much in terms on time if you do not lose your patience. If exam is disconnected then your timer will be paused too. Just stay focus and keep your calm and composure. and Most important, Exam is not over until it is not over. Do not assume or try to predict your score during your exam, just stay focus on the question that is on the screen and give your best till the last question.
I will reattempt the exam again soon. Hopefully score 730+ this time.
