Thank you, Yashkumar. If you are going to retake the GMAT and believe you can further elevate your score (30+ points), then I would focus on mastering the GMAT and applying in round two. Also keep in mind how robust and time-consuming a process it is to put forth a series of quality applications in a given round (let alone a handful of applications in only a matter of weeks). Applying to these programs requires thorough self-evaluation and thorough research on each program. Ross, Fuqua, and Stern will all be curious to know what specific steps you've taken to determine those are the right programs for you. Strong applications in round two (with an improved GMAT, hopefully) are preferable to rushed applications in round one.

Thanks for your reply Greg. As suggested by you, I will concentrate on my next attempt of GMAT as of now. Will definitely get in touch with you around end of November when I am done with my exam. In the meantime I will start searching for a job which will fall in line with my overall plan.
