Hi everyone,
I am aiming to apply by the end of this July. I am in need of some advise regarding pursing Queen's MBA. I am a "non-profit" professional looking to switch to "for-profit" sectors after MBA. I am hearing that a 12 months program instead of a 20 months program is not beneficial for career switchers like me. What's your take on this? Also, what are my chances of getting into Queen's program. Here is a summary of my profile:
Location: Bangladesh
Work Experience: 5+ years at a non-profit consultancy firm, designing inclusive business models with private companies to improve 2 agricultural value chains.
GRE 1: 308 (Q158, V150), prearing for GRE 2, aiming for 320
CGPA: 3.20 out of 4 (Marketing and Finance)
Extracurricular activities in college: led the cultural club activities in college, won 2 business case competitions.
Other activities: Implementing various community development projects for the underprivileged in urban slums through a pro-bono community development organization.
Future Goals: Switch to "for-profit" from "non-profit" consultancy.
Looking forward hear from you guys.
