Hello,

I have recently been admitted into Darden's differed admissions program with a 700 GMAT. I have a year and a half before matriculating to Darden, so I am considering retaking the GMAT to either boost my chances of receiving scholarships, or to see if I can get into other programs. My hesitation is if I increase my 700 to 720 or 730, how much more competitive would it make me? In other words, is it worth spending the time and money retaking the GMAT to improve by 20-30 points.

A little more background:
Business Econ undergrad at Kelley with a 3.9 GPA
3 years of experience at Deloitte Services - Engagement Financial Advisor
Manage 1 India counterpart
Average/slightly above average recs & essays

New target schools would be Ross, Kellogg, & Booth.

Hi jomregan,

Thank you very much for your note, and apologies for the overdue reply.

Avanti Prep experienced record levels of applicant demand this application season. As a result, my work with clients was super-active from R1 applications, through R1 Interview Prep, into R2 applications, and most recently through R2 Interview Prep. I naturally had to prioritize my work with applicants over the Forum, so I apologize for not getting back to you.

That said, if you are still in the application game and are looking for help with Interview Prep, if your results didn't go as you had hoped this year and you're not sure why, or if you are starting to mobilize toward applying / re-applying this fall, I would be more than happy to connect. You can reference the links below for more information and/or regarding next steps.
