Fortunate enough to be admitted to both Ross and Johnson. I received $20K/year merit scholarship at Johnson.
My goal for after BSchool is strategy consulting, but there is an outside shot I pursue investment banking. My previous experience is in consulting and big data.
Johnson
- Love the small tightknit community, it's similar to my undergrad
- Cornell/Ivy Leage brand
- Money
- Assume east coast placement is better
Ross
- Really excited about MAP
- Would love to live in a new part of the country
- Better for consulting
- Grew up a Michigan fan, so football doesn't hurt
What do you guys think?
Thanks!
As you have double interest in 2 fields, I would go with schools that will try to fit in both fields. I would choose Johnson. Although Johnson may less grads than Ross, it still sends good percentage to MBB and other consulting firms and more importantly, it sends grads to IB in northeast. You will have great acceptability to IB hub in NY. It is important for your networking. Also, it has the immersion either in consulting or IB. It is like MAP in Ross but more specialized.
I hope it helps. Good luck
