Hi Guys,

Doubt 1: To finish her shift without spilling another pizza into a customer's lap is Michelle's only goal tonight. - What is the function/structure of "into a customer's lap?"

Doubt 2: What's the difference between "in the class" and "in class?"

In the class--> you're talking about "any specific class" that you discuss (or something like that) already with someone.
In class---> You're talking "all the class" in general.

"into a customer's lap" is acting as an adverbial modifier here.

I wouldn't worry about this. GMAT does not test you on articles (a/an/the)
