Questions: Need no BS, harsh, honest opinion.-Biggest concern is GMAT. Been scoring 750+ on mocks consistently but couldn’t convert on actual exam. Have one more attempt left before start of R1 deadlines. Have given back to back GMATs in past 2 months. Considering the Indian Male Engineer over-representation, what would be a good strategy to address the issue? Does persistence count enough to offset low score?
PS: Not looking for ways or tips to improve GMAT.
-Any tips on Optional Essay strategy?
-Should I put in my application for a Reach school with this low GMAT in R1, considering the worst-case scenario of no score improvement in final test? If I get dinged at R1, I'll skip out on the chance of applying with an improved GMAT score in further rounds right?
