I always wanted to do everything I could and finish my GMAT in the first attempt. I finished Manhattan for verbal, official material, and a lot of test series like
egmat, jamboree and
experts global. But my scores were 640, 650 and 690. But there are few things that can really boost your score. These points are often ignored by most people and which I realized only after coming in contact with Rahul Sir (

1) The importance of personal coaching: GMAT is not something meant only for intelligent people. I know brilliant students who don't cross the 700 barrier and many average students who get even 750+. Its all about the right strategy and mindset during the exam. If you are stuck and have tried almost all resources, I think it would be nice to have a personal coach like Rahul, who could closely work with you. He not only identified my weak areas but also worked personally on the strategies. My weak point was RC in verbal and he taught me to identify and retain strong areas in the first read, which really helped me improve my accuracy.
2) Sentence correction is purely mathematical and you can literally have 100 percent accuracy if practiced well. One should stick to the official material from guides and gmat official mocks. Rahul helped me gather and put together all the material in one place, so it was very easy for me to practice.
3) Before you read this, please solve this question:
https://gmatclub.com/forum/is-a-b-c-even-130399.htmlThe last hurdle in GMAT is to get a 50 if you are targetting top US Bschools. If you are good in Maths, then getting a 49 would be a cakewalk for you. Although there is not much score improvement as you go from 49 to 50/51, the Bschools these days really want a 50 or 51. A 49 is a big NO for some. GMAT has some tricks, which are literally repeated in every exam. After continuously getting 49 in every exam, Rahul helped me learn about those traps, such as not assuming a given number integer. As of now, that might sound a very normal approach, but trust me when we solve questions we do that very often. He helped me realize many of those points.
Trust me GMAT is not difficult, it is just about practicing the right material with right strategy and any score is reachable.
