By the way - quick tip for those who havent interviewed yet - KF believes in blind interviews - which means that the interviewer hasnt read your essays or LoRs. You may want to keep this in mind when deciding how to approach your questions (basically, you dont run the risk of repeating what you've written in your essays i guess)

The website says the interview call can happen till the last day before decisions. But does it really happen so late? Hopefully they call soon. Fingers crossed!

I have had an interview with Kenan's associate director yesterday..and boy was it short.

I thought Kenan conducts blind interview but she had already read my whole app and my interview lasted only 12-13 minutes. :|
I dunno what to make out of it. She asked only the basic questions- Career progression, Why MBA, Short term and Long term goals, Why Kenan-Flagler, Questions to ask me?

Fellow people who had been interviewed before, can you guide on this.

Did she mention that she had read your app? If yes, you're the 1st one among us, probably. My interviewer specifically said that she had not read my app!

Perhaps, she was content with your application and interview responses. She might have made out that you are what they think you are! And therefore, didn't find the need to grill you further.

Yes she did mention twice that she had already read my App.. I was confused because as far as I know about Kenan was that it conducted blind interviews.
Anyways let's see :?

received today invitation for interview for round 3. Submitted fully only week ago (I was awaiting clearing of app fee waiver).
In their email there was this
We ask that you not register for a spot prior to January 25th since these spots are reserved for Round 2 candidates.
so there is still time slot for round 2 applicants interview

thanks a lot, man! i can't tell you the amount of relief your response has provided me.

I do find it odd that they call some (or all??) people that are accepted the weekend before acceptances are formally sent out. February 1 is a Monday, so I'm assuming interviewers might call admitted applicants January 29-31 (based on EA posts in this thread from this application cycle).

My KF interview replied to my thank you message but from experience that's not always the case so I wouldn't stress out over it.

I didn't get a response from my KF interviewer though I got one from Carlson. At this point, I don't think there's much to read into it
