- And typically, is it a norm for admitted US applicants to get a phone call before the decisions are released online?

Per a post one Livewire this week, a Round 1 admit found out through an update on the portal first (day of notification date so 12/17) and then received a phone call from AdCom the next day.

Seeing people on livewire report the same thing about scholarship money. Kinda crazy that they would give all of the $ out before half of their applicants even have a shot.
