Congrats! I have an interview on the 16th. Preparing for it this weekend. I'd also like to second what you say - if anyone has some insight, please share :) So far, it seems that it is very conversational, 30 mins, and they expect you to confirm your interest in Stern.

Mine is on the 16th as well (11:15am). I guess we may run into each other.

I'm interviewing on the 15th - what are you guys bringing to the interview? From what I can tell, they don't request anything, but it would feel weird walking in empty handed. Maybe I'll bring copies of my resume...

I have my interview this coming week. For anyone who has completed their interview, please post some guidance on how your's went.

From my experience, they know your file in and out!!! Have to be very very clear and precise why you are there and what are the goals you are trying to achieve.. They make sure they focus enough on the EQ and pick 6 components too.

My invitation arrived 5 weeks after I'd applied. And back then they had much smaller pool of applicants to pick from. You should not worry!!! :-)

This is definitely out of context, but is your GPA 2.4 out of a 4.0? Congrats on the Johnson invite, I got one there too!

Just finished my interview. They really do a great job - extremely conversational. My interviewer started off asking about my hobbies, and the conversation organically moved from there, and before I knew it, it was over.

Me too, still waiting. I don't think any Indian invites have gone out yet.

Yeah. It’s now officially a month. But technically they can send out invites until Jan 1st. I just hope it doesn’t come to that. For international candidates at least they should give sufficient time to arrange for visa and stuff.

Just interviewed. Like others have said, it was very conversational. Talked about my work experience, why Stern, the admissions staff gave me tips on networking early since I am going for a niche industry (cleantech), hobbies. Interview was 30 minutes on the dot.

I got an acceptance letter yesterday. It took exactly 2 months and 1 day from the day when I applied to the day when I received the decision. I think my application was “under review” for over 2 weeks.
