Does the admission process mandate two interviews? Can a decision be made with only one interview also?

I have heard that there are 2 interviews for Indian and Chinese candidates(Other nationalities such as Pak, Bangladesh etc. included) untiland unless one has a really impressive profile.

Folks, One of my referees called me and asked she was asked to answer a few questions by the college, and there was also the option of submitting a report. It apparently was not very clear about whether she needed to do both, or it's either questions or the report(one of them). Would anyone here know?

They need to fill in just one of them. Either submit the letter or fill in each questions separately. Since my referees didn't have much time, they just submitted the letter.
