hey all, quick question. I know I could for Ivey, but can you submit your application before both your references have been submitted by your referee? or does Rotman actually need it in-hand before you can submit?

Hey Russthermann, you can submit your application before you submit your referees. However, it's recommended that not too much time passes before they submit it. The response of my Ad Com was the following:
"Yes, you an submit your application without having the references complete, and you can also submit them at any time. Theoretically, you can even submit them now since the application is open, even if you are not planning to apply for a little while. Its always ideal to give your references as much time as possible to complete it so you can avoid having to follow up with them numerous times. You can let them know, that the reference request has about 5 questions and should not take longer than 15 minutes for them to complete and it is done entirely online through the form we sent to their e-mail."

Although you can submit it, the admissions team will probably not consider your application until the references have been submitted.

Hope that's useful!

There is no minimum GMAT. However, you'll want to be at around the average of 660 to consider that you have a competitive GMAT. You can check the requirements here: https://www.rotman.utoronto.ca/Degrees/ ... w_to_apply

As far as I know, if you have a very competitive application, you can get in even with a GMAT as low as 580, so don't self-select yourself out.

Good luck!

Hey all, stupid question but figured I'd ask.

Is Rotman rolling admissions like Ivey? or do they segment each round and admit a certain number per application deadline? Im finishing up my application now and will have it in within the next couple hours, but curious by these deadlines.

Thanks!

It's rolling admissions as well, so it should be worth it to apply as soon as possible regardless of the next deadline.

Silly question here, I submitted my application last night, and only need two things to complete it. One of my referees is finishing my reference (will have that in tomorrow), and my Official University Transcript/Official GMAT Score (which are required if offered admission). However, on the application site it says;

"Please note that your application will not be deemed as complete and will not be reviewed until all supplementary documents have been received and the video assessment has been completed."

Does the supplementary documents mentioned above refer to the documents not needed until submission somehow? Or is it only for people who haven't uploaded their Spike Photos/Resume/CV? Just confused here as I was sent my online video essay link but want to make sure Im not missing anything here.

Thank you!

Hi,
You are not missing anything. Once offered an admit you can send your official scores as well as University Transcript.

Did you submit your unofficial university transcript? I believe that it's an important part of the application process, but no need to send the official scores until after you have received your admissions offer.

Congratulations to all the Rotman ('21 intake) admits. I've created a WA & FB groups for the admits. Hope to see you there.

Cheers!

I have an interview in exactly 1 hour and 20 mins from now. I hope I do well and hear back in a couple of days. Cannot wait to see how it goes. I will surely post the debrief in the Interview debrief section

You will do great. Just treat it like an opportunity for you to get to know about the school as much as the school getting to know you.
