I wonder what one could improve in a couple of weeks though. I got rejected with a 770, so it's pretty tough to identify what needs improvement.
Just thinking out loud..they could simply deny instead of keeping it open..i think we are hanging by a thread which could go both ways may be based on the interview invitees performance..

Yeah, correct me if I'm wrong but no other school has mentioned that they could still invite you for an interview this very round - even though you don't get invited right away.

I think this is their polite way of saying no. I hope what you’re saying is true because I got rejected/waitlisted too but the chances of it happening are very slim in my opinion.

Same here. I got rejected with a 333 GRE (770 GMAT equivalent) - must be because of my WE, i.e. 11.5 years.
